British Council is pleased to invite you to attend a special seminar on the topic "Global Careers and Business Education in the 21st Century" by Professor Dana Brown, Principal of Leicester Castle Business School, De Montfort University(DMU). The seminar will look at business education in the context of changes over time in the global economy and business needs. We put forward for debate a notion that global careers today require a unique set of skills and ways of learning that are not fully integrated into traditional business training.
In doing so, we will explore meanings of common terms in business such as 'leadership', 'entrepreneurship', 'innovation' and 'global mindedness' and consider how these skills are learned.
At the end of the seminar, Prof. Brown will provide a brief introduction to the programmes at Leicester Castle Business School and will welcome any questions.
