About the public lecture

Dr Gregory James, Reader in Banking and Finance at Leicester Castle Business School, De Montfort University, will give a public lecture on "Recent Trends in Banking Performance in the ASEAN Region". 

Special session! The lecture will be followed by a talk on careers in banking and finance in the UK and globally and a Q&A session.

About the speaker

Dr Gregory James is Reader in Banking and Finance at Leicester Castle Business School. His research interests are in the area of Banking, Corporate Finance, and Financial Economics. His research has been published in a number of prestigious journals including Journal of Banking and Finance, Economic Inquiry, and Economics Letters.

Dr James is the Programme Leader of the MSc Global Banking and Finance at Leicester Castle Business School. He teaches courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in Banking and Finance, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Dr James currently serves as an Associate Editor of the Malaysian Journal of Economic Studies and is also an Editorial Board member for the International Journal of Commerce and Finance.
