The British Council has been administering school exams for more than 75 years. We will make sure that everything runs smoothly on the day, so that you can concentrate on doing your best.
There are some important forms and materials that you will need to bring on the exam day. And of course, you need to know about your exams dates, venues and times.
Before you set off:
- Aim to arrive 30 minutes before the start of the exam so that you can relax before it begins.
- Allow plenty of time for traffic or travel disruption (and always have an alternative travel plan in mind).
Things to bring to the exam room:
- Thai national ID card or passport
- pens and pencils in a CLEAR bag
- basic calculator (of a type approved by your exam board)
- any extra equipment needed for your subject.
Remember:
- No mobile phones, or any other electronic devices, are allowed in exam rooms
- Don’t bring valuable belongings.
Please note that specific regulations, which may differ from the above, apply to practical, oral, IT and art/design exams.
ID and statement of entry
You need to bring your ID and your Statement of Entry to all examinations.
What counts as acceptable ID?
Only the following are acceptable forms of ID:
- Passport
- Thai Identity Card
If you do not have these, please speak to British Council representative well in advance of your exams.
What is a Statement of Entry?
A Statement of Entry is a document that confirms your exam registration. It will include a list of your chosen subjects and the exam dates for each module, as well as your name and date of birth.
