As a passionate educator, she believes in lifelong learning. Her teaching and research interests span sociolinguistics, sociopragmatics, CALL, MALL and netnography. She is also interested in how pragmatics and netnopragmatics influence language learning in the digital age, when online communication is more common than face-to-face communication. Dr Putri believes in the power of sharing knowledge while continuously learning from her students.

Elena Ostashchenko
Elena Ostashchenko, is an experienced EFL educator with over 15 years of teaching experience spanning EFL/ESL, Business English, ESP, EAP and IELTS. Since 2017, she has been based in Vietnam, where she works at the British Council in Hanoi. Elena holds an MA in Applied Linguistics & TESOL from the University of Leicester, UK (2023), complemented by full certifications in teaching Cambridge CELTA (2017) and Delta (2019).
Esra Girgin
Esra Girgin graduated from Istanbul University, Department of English Language Education in 2002. With over a decade of experience as an English teacher and co-ordinator in private schools, she currently serves as Academic Manager at Macenta Publishing and Digital Solutions. A frequent speaker at international conferences like IATEFL and TESOL France, she has contributed articles on language education and technology to numerous educational publications.
Fajarudin Akbar
Fajarudin Akbar is the ambassador of the International English Language Teachers Association for Indonesia, a TESOL/TEFL educator and the Academic Manager at Golden English, an English language training center that often incorporates immersive experiences as an aid to learning. Patcharin Kunna
Patcharin Kunna, also known as Rabbit, is a Grade 9 English teacher at Damrongratsongkroh School in Chiang Rai, Thailand. Her areas of interest in English Language Teaching (ELT) include motivating students, lesson planning, material development, and classroom research. Since 2022, she has been involved in the EAR project for teacher skills development. She continues to work in this field, serving as a local mentor to teachers in Thailand.
Sam Whittam
Sam Whittam is Product Development Manager at Macenta Publishing & Digital Solutions in Turkey. After university, Sam taught English in South Korea, and discovered he enjoyed developing new teaching methods. After moving to Turkey, he taught students of all ages, from kindergarten to university. In 2017 he moved into an ELT publishing role as a teacher trainer and educational consultant. He is part of the team behind The Globals, an award-winning English education platform.
Scott Thornbury
Scott Thornbury has taught in Egypt, the UK, Spain, and in his native New Zealand. Until recently, he taught an online MA TESOL programme in New York. His writing credits include award-winning books for teachers, including About Language (Cambridge) and The New A-Z of ELT (Macmillan). His latest books are 30 Language Teaching Methods,101 Grammar Questions, and 66 Essentials of Lesson Design (Cambridge). He is also the series editor of the Cambridge Handbooks for Language Teachers.
Fatiha Najma
Fatiha is a dedicated English teacher at a private school in Indonesia, holding a bachelor's degree in English Education. With nearly seven years of experience, she is currently teaching in a low-attainment environment, where she enjoys teaching in various contexts, including general English, English for specific purposes, and English test proficiency preparation. Fatiha is also an active speaker at seminars and conferences, promoting 21st-century skills such as public speaking and leadership.
Gavin Dudeney
Gavin is Director of Technology for The Consultants-E, working in EdTech consultancy in the fields of teacher training, materials development and AI, and in Monitoring and Evaluation of large-scale education projects. Former Honorary Secretary and Chair of ElCom at IATEFL, he has also served on the International House Trust Board and on the Educational Writers Group Committee of the Society of Authors. Gavin is author of The Internet & The Language Classroom (CUP 2000, 2007).
