The benefits of a UK higher education will stay with you for life. With outstanding research and teaching facilities, plus globally recognised qualifications on offer, UK education sets you on the path to success.

There are thousands of undergraduate and postgraduate courses to choose from, and there's lots of support while you study.

Support for international students

While you study, your institution will usually provide, or help you find, accommodation for at least your first year of study. Options include houses shared with other international students, halls of residence and private accommodation. The international student office or student welfare centre will be available to provide assistance and make recommendations.

Scholarships, grants, bursaries and financial awards help to support students financially through their studies. UK schools, colleges, universities, government and other organisations in the UK offer a range of international student scholarships and awards. You can have a brief look at some of the major scholarships and awards offered to Thai and international students at our Thai-UK Education Scholarships. You can also look on the websites for the schools, colleges and universities you are interested in, plus perhaps organisations in your country offer scholarship schemes.

Working after your studies

Your university or institute can help you with job prospects through their careers centre or student advice office. Many universities and colleges have strong links with global employers who regularly hire graduates from a range of subjects. They will also have specialist careers advisers and it's a good idea to discuss your options with them. Another helpful website is UKCISA, which has lots of useful advice and is particularly good at explaining the implications of visa regulations.
