Donate your unwanted books and magazines for charity. British Council in Thailand will run a second-hand book stall at Ploenchit Fair on Saturday 26 November 2016 at Bangkok Patana School, Sukhumvit 105, from 10 am to 8 pm.
We need lots of books and magazines in English or Thai to sell in support of a wide range of Thai charities. Any contribution, large or small, from now until 24 November 2016 will be very much appreciated. You can drop your contribution at any branches of British Council in Bangkok.
Ploenchit Fair at Bangkok Patana School
Organised by the British Community in Thailand Foundation for the Needy, Ploenchit Fair has been part of the social scene in Thailand for decades. Since the year 2000, the Fair has raised over 55 million baht which has been donated to a diverse range of Thai Charities.
Ploenchit Fair, coming in the theme of a traditional British fairground, features fun activities, entertainment, tasty food, bargain stalls and grand raffles.
