Nay Kiratibutra

Graduate from the University of Strathclyde

Nay goes above and beyond her role by expressing a strong commitment to manage textile waste in a more beneficial and sustainable way at FedEx. She initiated the project to recycle piles of retired uniforms into new caps for couriers, raising awareness on environmental matters at organisational, industry, and country level. She has proven that a big change can be driven by anyone, regardless of gender or job title.

According to Nay, studying in the UK is a precious life experience, which cannot be gained anywhere else. It brings out the best version of oneself, building self-esteem and broadening perspectives like never before. Living in Glasgow City, where the slogan “people make Glasgow” can be seen everywhere, it is truly amazing how people can make such a difference to the society in which they live.

This is just the first step, and Nay will definitely continue to inspire others to start paying attention to the environment.
