Global Employability Manager

David is Global Employability Manager at UWE Bristol, and creator of GradLink, an award-winning and free careers site for international students studying in the UK. GradLink is used by hundreds of international students each day, has over 100,000 followers on its social media, and a global network of 800 employers. Already winner of a prestigious Times Higher Award, GradLink has been shortlisted for a third time this year in recognition of its support for international students during Covid.
Through the development of GradLink, David has worked extensively with employers across the world, including East Asia. Employers include PwC, BDO, Microsoft, Samsung and Deloitte. This experience has enabled David to build a comprehensive understanding of trends in the Asian graduate job markets, and also what employers Iook for when recruiting East Asian students who have studied in the UK.
David has contributed to articles in the UK national press and also to government research on international student employability. He has regularly presented at key careers events both in the UK and overseas.
During covid, GradLink has set up a range of careers resources and articles to help international students. These resources have reached over 7 million people worldwide.
