In this session, speakers from The University of Hull, the Brunel University London and the Nottingham Trent University will introduce the opportunities, employability activities and resources students can expect and the amazing support available to students in the UK. Moreover, a panel of current students will also be sharing their university lives and giving you insider information on what it is like to study in the UK!
After the presentations, participating universities will provide further information about their institutions, course offerings, scholarships opportunities, and other topics in individual Zoom breakout rooms. So, if you are planning to apply to one of these institutions, don't forget to get your questions ready!

Jonathan completed his postgraduate careers qualification at The University of Reading. He has worked in further education for 6 years as Careers Team leader, then spent 6 years at the University of Reading, where he was Head of Employer Engagement and acting Director of Careers and Employability. During which time the team won the NUE ‘Best University Careers/Employability Service’ Award 2018 in partnership with Henley Business School. Jonathan has been at Brunel for just under Three years and leads a team of 40, driving up positive employment outcomes for all students. Chris Harwood works for Nottingham Trent University as a Careers Consultant for Nottingham Business School and International Student Project Coordinator, supporting the employability needs of all students across the university. As Careers Consultant for NBS, Chris supports MBA, International Business, Accounting and Finance students. Chris project manages the Employability Workshop and Mock Assessment Centre programme for Employability, as well as chairing the Sustainability Task Group. Chris has been at Nottingham Trent University for over 3 years, following 15 previous years in secondary education in senior academic and pastoral roles.
