Under the Newton Fund, the British Council in Thailand is working with IPST to run a professional development programme with the aim of bringing Thai school directors to visit centres, institutions, and organisations responsible for STEM education and promotion in the UK, in March 2016. This will support knowledge exchange and partnership opportunities between the UK and Thailand to promote STEM education in Thailand.
The participants on this programme are expected to be Thai School Directors who are responsible for or involved in STEM education in Thai schools. Participants are expected to propose a plan to increase the understanding and implementation of STEM in their scope of work and be able to demonstrate utilisation of best practices from the UK in their education institutions in Thailand.
