After 11 years of hosting the British Council New Directions in Language Assessment conference across various regions—including East Asia, Latin America, and Europe—we are excited to return to South East Asia! This prestigious event will take place in Thailand, in the vibrant city of Bangkok.

The 12th edition of the conference will begin on the evening of Thursday, 21 November, with an opening plenary and a short discussion, followed by a welcome reception. The conference provides a valuable opportunity for participants to network and engage with fellow attendees, invited speakers, and prominent experts in the field of language education.

 The conference will continue over two full days, Friday and Saturday (22-23 November), featuring:
