Opened in 1940 on the former site of the British Legation, the Grand Postal Building was designed with a mixture of Art Deco and International Style architecture which reflected the desire of the ruling People's Party to project a modern and powerful image of the state. It is a venue with contemporary neo-classical architecture. It emphasizes simplicity, elegance, classicism, charm, and grandeur, from the exterior of the building decorated in brown tones, and the interior is spacious, luxurious, but hidden in simplicity.
